Journalist by profession, writer by passion, Shefali has 10 Years of Experience in the field of journalism. During this tenure she has worked with several organisations of Print media and digital Media including Dainik Bhaskar Digital, Gaon Connection and Navbharat Times Digital. She has done her Masters in Mass Communication and Political Science. She has an interest in Health, Women and Politics. She has done health related stories and video interviews during COVID-19, Human Angle and women oriented stories during elections. She has also worked with election special teams. She loves to read Hindi-Urdu Literature & cinema.
Jagriti Trisha
Jagriti is a Fact Checker with BOOMLive. She holds a PG diploma from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in History (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University. She has previously contributed to several digital media platforms through her freelance work. Deeply engaged in student activism, her interests include literature, cinema and social justice politics. She believes journalism is not just about reporting events but about understanding and engaging with the social realities that shape them
Swasti Chatterjee
Swasti Chatterjee is a fact-checker and the Deputy News Editor of Boom's Bangla team. She has worked in the mainstream media, in the capacity of a reporter and copy editor with The Times of India, The Indian Express and NDTV.com and is now working as a digital detective, debunking fake news.
Archis Chowdhury
Archis is a fact-checker and reporter at BOOM. He has previously worked as a journalist for broadsheet newspapers and in communications for a social start-up incubator. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris and a Master's in Media and Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam.
Anmol Alphonso
Anmol Alphonso is a fact-checker with BOOM. He has previously interned at IndiaSpend as a fact-checker and was a reporting intern at Times of India, Indian Express, and Mid-Day. He is a post-graduate diploma holder in journalism from St Paul's Institute of Communication Education, Mumbai.
